Jim has worked with Ruth Huffman for several years. She is known as the bison lady and she has a fiber processing mill dedicated to bison hair. She even has a patent on the process. Ruth is a good marketer and has managed to get excellent press over the years. She was an invited speaker at the National Bison Association meeting in Denver this past year. Jim sent her yak hair last year and she did a test run and really liked the result. She has decided she would also like to be known as the yak lady. She spends lots of time with media and is going to start promoting yak fiber as part of her "story". This will give yaks promotion in mainstream media across the country and raise awareness across the board. If anyone is interested please contact Jim and he will pass on your information.
